The story behind this design

The DipaliZ tropical hibiscus design leads with the flower rather than the bird, so the open hibiscus faces do most of the talking. Flamingos appear between the blooms at a smaller scale, which is the reverse of how the rest of this range is composed. The mood is lush and boho, the sort of pattern that belongs on a sarong as much as on a cup.
