How it works
It's counted per order, not per item — $20 plants one tree, $40 plants two, $60 plants three. You'll see the count in your cart before you check out and again in your order confirmation. There's nothing to opt into and nothing added to your total; it comes out of what we earn.
Who plants them
We fund planting through theGoodAPI, which supports reforestation projects and reports back on what goes in the ground. We don't plant the trees ourselves — we pay people who do, and we'd rather say that plainly than let you assume otherwise.
Where we are so far
Those are small numbers. We'd rather show you real ones than an impressive total we can't stand behind — we started in 2023, we're small, and every order moves them.
Why trees
Nearly everything we create is a plant. It would be strange to build a business on ferns, oak leaves and wildflowers and give nothing back to the thing we keep making. The art and the promise are the same idea.
What we don't claim
We're not carbon neutral and we don't say we are. Everything is printed to order, so nothing is made before someone wants it — no warehouse of unsold stock, nothing sent to landfill unworn. But printing, inks and shipping still have a footprint, and planting trees doesn't cancel that out. It's one thing we can do, done honestly.
