About This Item
The DipaliZ Green Leaf Mug is a ceramic mug that holds 11oz. Soft green leaves are printed around the outside on a pale ground. The pattern is botanical in general rather than showing one named plant. The mug suits tea and coffee at a desk, and it makes a small gift for someone who keeps houseplants. The size and material are taken from this mug's own product record.

The story behind this design
The leaves in this pattern are painted with a loaded brush and a single stroke each, so the pigment is dense at the stem end and thins toward the tip. Nothing is outlined, which is what keeps the design feeling painted rather than printed. Two greens carry the whole thing, one cool and one warmer, and the pale ground is left generously open so the mug stays light in the hand and in the eye.
