The story behind this design
A yak is mostly silhouette, and the engraving leans into that: a low heavy body, a dense skirt of hanging hair and two curved horns, all carried by the outline alone. Nothing inside the shape is shaded, so the animal reads instantly from across a lunch table. It is a deliberately unusual choice of creature for a children's cup, which is most of the charm.
