About This Item
Painted brush strokes stand in for flag stripes on the DipaliZ 250 Years Brush-stripe Tee, which marks the 250th anniversary of 1776. This unisex tee is offered in Light Blue, Sand, Sport Grey, White and Black, in sizes S through 3XL. The design is small and minimal, which is what makes it wearable after the anniversary rather than only during it.

The story behind this design
Three brush strokes, loaded unevenly so the bristle marks show, sit above the numerals in a plain condensed face. The red is closer to brick and the blue to slate than to flag colors. Painting the stripes rather than drawing them was the whole idea, because a hand-made mark reads as a commemoration instead of a uniform.

Care
Machine wash the shirt cold, inside out, with like colors, and tumble dry on low. Do not iron directly over the print. Skip bleach and fabric softener, both of which shorten the life of a printed graphic.
