About This Item
The DipaliZ Bat Decal is a kiss-cut vinyl decal on a white base with a satin finish. Four sizes are listed, running from 3 by 4 inches to 8 by 10 inches. Each decal carries a single bat, so several ordered in different sizes read as a group in flight. This listing describes the vinyl as UV, water and scratch resistant.

The story behind this design
A bat is almost all silhouette, so the work here went into the wing membrane: thin bones showing through, the trailing edge scalloped rather than straight, one wing further forward than the other so the shape reads as mid-beat. The face is small and deliberately underplayed. Solid charcoal with a faint warm edge is the entire palette, which is what lets the decal sit on a pale wall without looking like a sticker of a bat.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What sizes does the DipaliZ bat decal come in?
A: Four sizes are listed: 3 by 4 inches, 4 by 6 inches, 6 by 8 inches and 8 by 10 inches.
Q: What material is the bat decal?
A: White-base vinyl with a satin finish, cut kiss-cut.
Q: Can several bat decals be grouped on a wall?

Care
Clean and dry the surface first, then press the decal down from one edge. Avoid solvent cleaners on the print, and lift from a corner slowly when taking it down.
