The story behind this design

Frosted glass is the ideal ground for a snow scene, because the surface already looks like weather: the etched white finish reads as frost before a single line of the drawing is seen. A cabin in winter is drawn small against its surroundings, which is what makes it feel warm rather than grand. It is the quieter companion to the Warm Wishes design on the same mug.

Frequently asked questions

Q: How much does the mug hold?
A: 16 oz, in a single size with a frosted finish.

Q: Is it dishwasher safe?
A: Yes. This mug is listed as both dishwasher safe and microwave safe.

Q: Is it glass or ceramic?
A: Frosted glass, with a handle. DipaliZ also sells ceramic mugs, which are separate listings.

Q: Is this a Christmas design?
A: It belongs to the DipaliZ Winter collection. A cabin in winter is a seasonal scene rather than a holiday one, so it works from the first cold week onward.
