About This Item
This DipaliZ framed print shows a sphere holding a single snowflake, printed on LexJet 200 gsm paper and supplied in a frame. One size is listed, 16 by 16 inches, so the piece is square. Three frame finishes are offered: Black, Walnut and White. A square format suits this subject, because a sphere needs equal space on all sides to read as a sphere rather than an oval. The print arrives framed, which means it can go straight on a wall. It suits a hallway, a home office, or a winter rotation of wall art rather than a permanent hang.

The story behind this design
A single snowflake is suspended inside a translucent sphere, and almost everything else in the picture is restraint: a pale ground, a soft shadow under the sphere, and no horizon. The snowflake is drawn with six fine arms and visible crystal branching, so it reads as a specimen rather than a decoration. Cool grays and a faint blue carry the whole image, which is why it sits quietly on a wall rather than announcing the season.
