About This Item
This DipaliZ placemat is one cotton table mat measuring 18 by 14 inches. The mat is made of 100% cotton and is sold as a single piece, not as a set. The printed artwork shows a squirrel with an acorn held in both paws, surrounded by fallen leaves in autumn colors. The rectangular format sits under a dinner plate with room left for cutlery on both sides. It suits a seasonal table setting that gets changed out rather than a year-round one.

The story behind this design
The squirrel is drawn mid-task rather than posed, both paws around the acorn and the tail curled up behind it, which is the moment most people actually see one. The leaf litter underneath is painted in flat warm layers so it does not compete with the animal for attention. The whole motif is set slightly off-center, leaving space where a plate will cover the mat anyway.
