About This Item
The DipaliZ Christmas Lights mug is a ceramic mug carrying a street scene lit for the holidays. The mug is offered in 11 oz and 15 oz. The artwork is applied by sublimation onto a glossy white ceramic base, so the print becomes part of the glazed surface. This mug suits winter evenings at home and works as a Christmas gift for anyone who drives out to see the lights.

- Capacities: 11 oz and 15 oz
- Print method: sublimation, wrapping the body
- Design: a street with Christmas lights
- Made to order
The two capacities above are read from this listing's own size options rather than from the product title, which names a 12 oz size that is not offered.
The story behind this design
The artwork looks at Christmas from the pavement rather than from inside the house: a row of lit facades, strings of bulbs between them, and the warm windows doing the colour work against a dark winter sky. Because sublimation keeps the ceramic itself as the brightest value, the white of the mug stands in for snow and lamplight and the printed areas carry the depth. It is a scene design rather than a character or lettering design, which sets it apart from the snowman and Santa mugs in the same collection.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What size is the Christmas lights mug?
A: The mug is offered in 11 oz and 15 oz. The title mentions 12 oz, but the two sizes available at checkout are 11 oz and 15 oz.
Q: What does the artwork show?
A: The design is a street scene lit with Christmas lights, printed by sublimation around the body of the mug.
Q: Is the mug ceramic or glass?
A: This is a ceramic mug with a glossy white base. DipaliZ sells frosted glass drinkware as separate listings.
Q: Will the print fade with washing?
A: Sublimation bonds the ink into the glaze rather than laying it on top, so the artwork holds up far better than a decal. Hand washing keeps it brightest.
Care
Wash by hand in warm water with a soft cloth for the longest-lasting print. Avoid abrasive pads and prolonged soaking.
