The story behind this design
Offering this wolf on black and white only makes the pairing the point: on black the drawing reads as a night scene, and on white it inverts into something closer to a woodcut. The animal stands square to the viewer rather than howling, which keeps the design out of the usual wolf-poster territory. The moon behind it is a plain disc, deliberately undetailed.
