The story behind this design
The spirals were drawn loose by hand and then scaled at three different sizes, so the pattern never lines up into a visible grid when the fabric stretches. Earth tones were chosen over brights because a spiral repeat in strong colour reads as dizzying at leg scale. Rust, clay and olive sit close enough in value that the eye takes in the movement without the individual shapes shouting.
