The story behind this design
Every shape here is a soft-edged oval, none of them the same size and none of them the same tone, in terracotta, olive, ochre and a chalky off-black. They are spaced widely enough that the white napkin reads between them rather than behind them. Because the pattern has no direction and no motif to spot, it survives being folded any way at all, which is more than most party napkins can claim.
