About This Item
The DipaliZ Botanical Cutout Acrylic Ornament is a 5 inch by 5 inch acrylic decor piece with a botanical cutout design. The artwork is a plant form reduced to its outline, so the clear acrylic shows through where leaves would be filled in. The customer enters the wording on the product page, which means the words in the photographs are a sample. The acrylic is listed in the Transparent colorway.

The story behind this design
Cutting a plant down to an outline is a harder discipline than drawing it in full, because every removed line has to be missed. What is left here is a stem and a handful of leaf shapes, spaced so that light passes between them and the acrylic does half the work. On a shelf it reads as a pressed specimen; held up to a window it reads as a shadow.

Care
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Acrylic scratches more easily than glass, so keep paper towels, abrasives and solvent cleaners away from it.
