The story behind this design
The hedgehog is tucked into a crescent rather than laid flat, which lets the stars fill the hollow of the curve instead of floating in dead space. Spines are drawn as soft triangles so the animal reads as sleeping rather than defensive. A pale wash behind the stars keeps the square from going fully dark, which matters when the sticker ends up on a black laptop lid.
