The story behind this design
The repeat borrows its vocabulary from mid-century textiles: stacked arcs, thin connecting bars and loose grids, drawn freehand so the lines wobble instead of ruling straight. The palette leans on burnt orange, mustard, teal and off-white, the combination that dates the artwork on purpose. At this scale the pattern runs continuously down the leg rather than breaking into separate motifs, which is what suits a wide cut.
