The story behind this design
What makes this drawing work is the absence of a tether: the astronaut is drifting, not working, and the composition leaves a lot of empty fabric around the figure to say so. The visor reflects rather than reveals, so the traveller stays anonymous. Pacific, a deep blue-green, gives the void more depth than flat Black manages.
