About This Item
This DipaliZ product is a poker deck printed with an ornate pattern in gold, green and black. Each card measures 2.5" x 3.5" on smooth 300 gsm premium-coated cardstock, semi glossy, on a white base. The deck plays as a standard poker set. It is the warmer of the two DipaliZ ornate backs, and the one that suits a dining table better than a card room.

The story behind this design
Adding a third color to a gold-and-black ornament changes what it is for. The green takes the pattern out of the casino and towards something closer to a bookbinding or a tin of biscuits, which is a gentler thing to have on a table. Because green sits between the gold and the black in value, the scrollwork reads as layered rather than stamped, and the whole back gains a little depth the two-color version does not have.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What colors are on this deck?
A: An ornate pattern in gold, green and black on a white base card.
Q: How does it differ from the gold and black ornate deck?
A: Same stock, same size, same ornate family. The green is the difference: it breaks up the gold-on-black contrast and makes the back read softer and less formal.
Q: What stock are the cards printed on?
A: Smooth 300 gsm premium-coated cardstock with a semi glossy finish.
Q: Is this a standard playable deck?
A: Yes. It is poker size with the usual suits and values on the faces.
Care
Store the deck in its box between games and keep it away from damp. Let a wet card dry flat rather than wiping it.
