The story behind this design
The joke is in the word, so the fish is drawn straight: one clean profile, scales suggested rather than counted, no cartoon expression. Color is held to the blues and greens already present in the shirt colorways, which is why the print sits into the garment instead of on top of it. Ice Blue and Mystic Blue were plainly the shirts this palette was chosen against.
