The story behind this design
The shapes are all straight-edged, but the repeat is broken deliberately every few rows so the pattern never quite settles into a grid. Sand and clay carry most of the surface with off-white cutting through as the lightest note. Because no single color dominates, the blanket sits against warm and cool furnishings equally well, which is the point of a neutral.
