About This Item
The DipaliZ Pastel Polar Blanket is an arctic fleece throw printed on one face. This blanket comes in three sizes, 30 by 40 inch, 50 by 60 inch and 60 by 80 inch. The design sets polar bears and snowflakes against a pastel ground of mint and pale blue. A fleece throw in nursery colors works on a cot-side chair as readily as on a sofa.

The story behind this design
The bears are drawn round and soft-edged with almost no outline, so they sit in the pastel ground rather than on top of it. Snowflakes are scattered at three different sizes, which creates a sense of depth on a flat surface. Mint, pale blue and cream do all the work; there is no strong contrast anywhere, and that restraint is what makes it restful.
