About This Item
This DipaliZ canvas print sets cactus and plant forms inside a geometric composition. Six horizontal sizes are sold, from 12 by 8 up to 40 by 30 inches, stretched over a frame 1.5 inches deep. The color runs strong rather than muted, so this is the piece for a room that needs one wall doing the work.

The story behind this design
Prickly pear pads and tall columnar cacti are drawn as flat silhouettes and set against blocks of contrasting color rather than a landscape. Magenta, jade and a hot mustard push against each other with no blending anywhere. The plants stop being botanical and become shapes, which is why the piece reads as graphic design more than as nature study.
