About This Item
This DipaliZ cutting board is a tempered glass kitchen board printed with an artistic wave design. Two rectangular sizes are offered, 8 by 11 inches and 11 by 15 inches. The glass surface resists staining and does not hold the smell of garlic or onion the way a wooden board can. It works as a chopping surface, a counter saver under a hot pan and a serving board for a cheese course.

The story behind this design
The waves are drawn as stacked curves rather than realistic water, each band a slightly different blue, with crests picked out in white and a thread of turquoise running underneath. Layering flat shapes this way gives depth without any shading at all. The mood is a calm sea rendered in the flat language of a woodblock print.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What is this DipaliZ cutting board made of?
A: The board is made of tempered glass.
Q: What sizes does the board come in?
A: Two rectangular sizes are offered: 8 by 11 inches and 11 by 15 inches.
Q: Can it be used as a serving board?
A: Yes. A glass board wipes clean and holds no odor, so the same board works for chopping and then for serving cheese or bread.
Q: What does the artwork show?
A: The board carries an original DipaliZ design of stylized waves in layered blues and greens.
Care
Wash by hand in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid dropping the board or setting it on a cold surface straight from the oven, as tempered glass dislikes sudden temperature change. Use a plastic scraper rather than steel wool on stuck-on food.
