DipaliZ Latte Mug Autumn Foliage Ceramic Fall Gift

The DipaliZ autumn foliage latte mug is a 12 fl oz white ceramic mug with the taller, narrower body a latte mug uses. That shape is functional rather than decorative: the extra height leaves room for foam and the narrower bore slows heat loss through the surface. The autumn foliage artwork wraps the body. It is a straightforward seasonal mug for the months when a hot drink stops being optional.

The story behind this design

A tall narrow mug gives a design more vertical room than a squat one, so the foliage is arranged to climb rather than to band: stems rise from near the base and the leaves open out towards the rim. Against the white ceramic the composition leaves a good deal of the base colour showing, which keeps the mug feeling light in the hand visually as well as physically. The tones stay in gold and amber rather than going to deep red.

Frequently asked questions

A: 12 fl oz.

Q: What is the mug made from?
A: White ceramic.

Q: What makes it a latte mug rather than a coffee mug?
A: A latte mug is taller and narrower than a standard coffee mug, which suits a milk-based drink and leaves room for foam.

Q: Is the autumn artwork on both sides?
A: The design wraps the mug body, so it is visible however the mug is turned.
