About This Item
This DipaliZ throw is a plush velveteen blanket in three sizes: 40 by 30 inches, 60 by 50 inches and 80 by 60 inches. The surface is a short-pile microfiber, soft to the touch rather than flat woven. Pumpkins and fall leaves are spread across the throw in orange, rust and cream. The blanket suits a sofa, a bed layer or a child's lap blanket, and works as an autumn housewarming gift. Sizes come from this listing's own options and the microfiber surface from its tags.

The story behind this design
Pile fabric softens every edge it is printed on, so the drawing was made bolder than it would be for a flat cloth, with thicker outlines and fewer fine details. Cream between the motifs gives the eye somewhere to rest on what is otherwise a large expanse of warm colour. The three sizes carry the same scale of artwork rather than a scaled repeat, so the smallest throw shows fewer, larger pumpkins.

Care
Machine wash the blanket cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low. Skip fabric softener, which mats a plush pile, and keep a hot iron off the surface entirely.
