The story behind this design
The design started from the same oak-and-acorn motif as the warmer towel in this range, then had the saturation pulled almost all the way out. What is left is drawing rather than color: leaf outlines, a few small flower heads, and a great deal of open cream ground. Because there is no strong hue anchoring it to October, the towel keeps working in a kitchen through the winter and into spring.
