About This Item
The DipaliZ Autumn Season Velveteen Plush Blanket is a decorative throw in 83% polyester and 17% spandex. This blanket carries an all-over autumn print, so the pattern runs to every edge of the face. Three sizes are listed, from a 30 by 40 inch lap throw up to a 60 by 80 inch bed cover. The velveteen surface takes colour deeply, which is why the warmer tones in the artwork stay saturated.

The story behind this design
Where the companion tree blanket gives you a scene, this one gives you the season as colour: layered washes of ochre, rust and faded green that shift across the cloth without settling into any single object. Look closely and leaf edges surface out of the wash, then dissolve again. It was drawn to sit under a table lamp in a room where nothing else needs to match it.
