Teddy and Rubber Duck Border
About This Item
A rubber duck sits alongside a teddy and a bottle on the border of this DipaliZ baby shower note pad. The duck is drawn as the bath-toy kind, with the flat base and upturned tail, rather than as a plain bird outline. The pad is offered in 3 by 3 inch and 4 by 4 inch squares on white sheets.

The story behind this design
The difference between a duck and a rubber duck is entirely in the base: one has feet and the other has a flat oval it sits on, and once you draw that oval the whole figure reads as a bath toy instead of an animal. This border commits to the toy version, which keeps the set consistent with the teddy beside it. All three motifs are things a parent actually handles, which is a quieter theme than a nursery full of woodland creatures.
