About This Item
This DipaliZ nursery throw is a printed fleece baby blanket with a space design. The blanket is made in one size, 30 inches by 40 inches, on a white fleece base. Astronauts, rockets and friendly aliens repeat across the face, drawn in flat pastel rather than deep space colors. A space-themed nursery, a playroom or a gift for a family of stargazers are where it lands.

The story behind this design
Space designs usually go dark, and keeping this one pale on white is what makes it a nursery blanket rather than a poster. The astronaut's visor, the rocket's fins and the alien's single antenna are the details each shape is built around. Keeping all three in the same four pastels means the repeat holds together even though the motifs do not match.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What is printed on this blanket?
A: The DipaliZ space blanket prints astronauts, rockets and friendly aliens, repeated across the face in flat pastel.
Q: Is the background dark like most space designs?
A: No. The DipaliZ design sits on a white fleece base in pale tones, so it does not read as a dark or night-sky blanket.
Q: What size and fabric is it?
A: This DipaliZ baby blanket is printed fleece on a white base and comes in one size, 30 inches by 40 inches.
Q: Is the design gender neutral?
A: Yes. The astronauts are drawn in suits with visors rather than with gendered features, and the palette avoids both pink and primary blue.
Care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low heat. Do not bleach, and do not iron directly over the printed side.
