The story behind this design
The drawing keeps to the warm browns of the drink itself and leaves the cup almost unlined, so the coffee is the solid shape and the vessel is implied around it. Steam is drawn as two thin rising curls, small enough that the design still reads at a glance. The four shirt colors were all chosen pale on purpose: a brown graphic needs a light ground to stay appetising, which is why there is no black option here.
