The story behind this design
The roses are painted in translucent layers so the paler petals let the paper show through, which is why the design looks different on the uncoated stock than on the coated. Pinks run from blush at the edges to a deeper rose at the centers, with gray-green foliage keeping the whole thing from going saccharine. The lettering is small and set off to one side rather than across the middle.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Is there a message printed inside?
A: No. The inside of the DipaliZ Best Mom Ever card is blank, so you can write your own message.
Q: What card sizes can I choose?
A: Four vertical sizes: 3.5 by 4.9 in, 4.25 by 5.5 in, 4.6 by 6.25 in and 5 by 7 in.
Q: Can I order more than one card?
A: Yes. Pack sizes of 1, 10, 30 and 50 cards are offered on the product page.
Q: What paper finishes are available?
A: Coated on both sides, coated on one side, matte and uncoated.
Q: Which finish is best for writing on?
A: Uncoated and matte take pen ink most readily; a coated finish gives the printed roses more depth.
Care
Keep the DipaliZ cards dry and flat until you use them. Write on the inside with a ballpoint or gel pen and let the ink dry before closing the card.
