The story behind this design
Trophy artwork earns its effect from restraint: a plate, a rule above and below the lettering, and nothing else. The type is set in the clipped capitals engravers use because the letters have to survive being small. Mint green and Pebble Blue are the two colorways that stop the whole thing reading as corporate, which matters on an object a twelve-year-old is going to carry to practice.
