The story behind this design
Long-tailed birds in teal, coral and saffron perch across a ground of dark foliage, each one turned a different way so the repeat never falls into rows. The palette is deliberately hot — tropical greens pushed toward emerald, with flashes of gold in the tail feathers. The mood is a conservatory at dusk, dense and a little theatrical.
