The story behind this design
All four colorways are blues, which is not an accident: a lunar scene printed on a blue ground reads as deep space rather than as a picture pasted onto a shirt. The flag is the only warm element in the composition, so the eye goes to it first and the moonscape does its work quietly behind. It is the wearable half of a pair, the throw pillow being the other, and the two were drawn to sit in the same room without repeating each other exactly.
