The story behind this design
The design is a single cluster of full-blown roses rendered almost entirely in black, with the petal edges left open so the fabric shows through as the only light in the image. There is no color in the artwork at all, which is deliberate: on Sand the roses read warm and faded, on White they read graphic and hard.
