About This Item
The DipaliZ Blue Jay Travel Mug is insulated stainless steel holding 40 fluid ounces, offered in Black, Royal Blue, Teal and White. Forty ounces is a full day's water or several coffees, which is the size that suits a hide, a hike or a long drive. The blue jay is printed onto the body rather than applied as a decal.

The story behind this design
Blue jays are harder to draw than their reputation suggests, because the blue is structural rather than pigmented and shifts with the light. This illustration handles that by building the plumage from several blues at once, with the black necklace and white face markings kept crisp so the bird stays identifiable at a glance. The crest is raised, which is how a jay looks when it has noticed you.
Frequently asked questions
Q: How much does this travel mug hold?
A: Forty fluid ounces, which is the largest size in the DipaliZ drinkware range.
Q: Which colorways are offered?
A: Four: Black, Royal Blue, Teal and White.
Q: Is 40 ounces too large for a cup holder?
A: A 40 ounce mug is tall and wide. Many vehicles take it, but a narrow cup holder will not, so check before relying on it for a commute.
Q: Why a blue jay?
A: The blue jay is one of the most recognizable backyard birds in North America, which makes it a natural subject for a birdwatching and camping mug.
