About This Item
The DipaliZ Blue Mosaic Weekender Tote is an oversized carry bag measuring 24 inches by 13 inches with black woven handles and one open main compartment. Covering the bag is a blue mosaic pattern of small irregular tiles, set in cobalt, slate and chalk white as though laid by hand. This tote takes a change of clothes for an overnight stay, a beach day's worth of towels, or a market haul.

The story behind this design
The mosaic was drawn tile by tile rather than tiled from one repeating square, so the grout lines wander and no two rows line up exactly. Cobalt dominates, slate cools the mid-tones and chalk white opens the pattern up where the tiles thin out. The reference is Mediterranean tilework, scaled small enough to read as texture from a distance.
