The story behind this design
The bluebird is placed low among the flowers, so the bird belongs to the planting rather than sitting above it. Blues in the feathers reappear in a few of the petals, which holds the picture together without the need for a background. The framing crops in close, as though the viewer has stopped walking to look.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What kind of frame does this poster come in?
A: The DipaliZ Bluebird framed poster comes in an ayous wood frame, offered in black, red oak or white.
Q: What sizes are available?
A: Nine sizes are offered: 8x10, 10x10, 11x14, 12x12, 14x14, 16x16, 16x20, 18x18 and 18x24 inches.
Q: Does the poster arrive already framed?
A: Yes. The print is mounted in the wood frame before it ships, so the poster arrives assembled.
Q: Is this the same design as the DipaliZ Bluebird spiral notebook?
A: The same bluebird and flowers artwork appears on both, so the framed poster and the spiral notebook can be bought as a pair.
Care
Dust the frame and the glazing with a dry, soft cloth. Hang the poster out of direct sunlight to keep the print from fading, and avoid damp walls, which wood frames dislike.
