The story behind this design
A bed is the largest flat surface in most rooms, and a small repeat gets lost on it. So this pattern was scaled to the bed: big interlocking geometric blocks that stay readable when the comforter is thrown open and still make sense when it is folded back at the top. The color runs in diagonal drifts rather than in a grid, which stops the whole thing looking like tiling and gives the bed a made, layered feel even when it is not.
