This DipaliZ wrapping paper roll carries an abstract flame design in red and black. Sizes are 30 by 36 inches, 30 by 72 inches and 30 by 180 inches, with a glossy or matte finish. Sweeping red forms cut across a black ground in an original DipaliZ drawing. Bold abstract wrapping paper suits birthdays, holidays and gifts that want to look less sweet. The story behind this design

Red on black is the loudest pairing available without going neon, and the restraint here is in the drawing rather than the palette. The flame forms are few and large, sweeping across the sheet instead of repeating tightly, so a wrapped parcel shows two or three complete gestures rather than a busy texture. It is gift wrap for someone who would rather not receive florals.
