The story behind this design
Woven fabric breaks a printed image into its threads, and this pattern is drawn to take advantage of that rather than fight it. The leaves are large and simply shaped, with no fine veining that the weave would swallow, and the greens are held a little muted so the texture of the cloth stays visible through the color.
