About This Item
The DipaliZ Peach placemat is a printed table mat measuring 18 by 14 inches, carrying a peach and foliage design. A single placemat covers one setting, and a set is built by ordering as many as the table seats. Fruit prints on table linen have a long history in farmhouse kitchens, where what was growing outside ended up drawn on what was laid inside. This placemat suits rustic kitchens, gift-giving and tables that are set casually. The dimensions are taken from this placemat's own size option.

The story behind this design
This design puts the peaches on a deeper ground than its siblings in the range, so the fruit reads as lit from the front rather than sitting on white. Foliage is drawn with a visible central vein and a slightly serrated edge, the details that separate a specific leaf from a generic one. The arrangement runs corner to corner on the diagonal, which suits a mat that is looked at from one side only.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What size is the Peach placemat?
A: The placemat measures 18 by 14 inches.
Q: Is the placemat machine washable?
A: Yes, on a cold gentle cycle.
Q: How is this different from the DipaliZ Tuscan Blush placemat?
A: Both are peach designs. This one sits on a deeper ground with the fruit arranged corner to corner; the Tuscan Blush mat uses loose clusters on a lighter ground.
Care
Machine wash the placemat cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low or lay it flat to dry. Iron on a low setting from the reverse if it needs pressing. Wipe crumbs off before washing and treat food marks while they are fresh; a placemat takes more direct spillage than any other table linen.
