The story behind this design

The check is drawn as single fine lines crossing at regular intervals over an unbroken pale ground, with no shading and no second color in the squares. It is the quietest pattern DipaliZ prints on this blank, and that was the aim: an oversized shirt is already a strong shape, so the cloth was given as little to say as possible. Capri blue on cream is the whole palette.
