The story behind this design
This paisley is drawn at medium scale, larger than the small floral DipaliZ puts on the same chiffon blank but nowhere near the size used on a weekender bag. Each teardrop carries its own interior detail of dots and fine curls, and the motifs interlock rather than sitting in rows. Capri blue does the outlines and a lighter wash fills them, which keeps the pattern reading as printed rather than woven.
