The story behind this design
Capybaras are drawn badly more often than not, so this one keeps the proportions honest: blunt muzzle, small round ears set far back, and a body with no visible neck at all. The fur is suggested with short soft strokes in warm brown, and the eyes are left as two simple dots. The whole animal sits calmly in the middle of the chest, which is exactly how capybaras tend to sit.
