About This Item
The DipaliZ Smiling Cat Acrylic Statue is a free-standing acrylic figurine cut to the shape of a cat. The piece measures 5 inches by 5 inches and is made from acrylic with a mirror-backed print. The artwork carries the line my cat is the reason I wake up smiling. It is made to stand on a desk, a shelf or a windowsill rather than to hang on a wall.

The story behind this design
The cat is drawn mid-stretch with its eyes shut and its mouth turned up, which is the only moment that makes the line of text land. Everything else is stripped out: no background, no whiskers in detail, just the silhouette and the words. The mirror backing catches light behind the figure so the cat seems to lift slightly off the surface it stands on.
