About This Item
The DipaliZ Custom Ceramic Photo Tile is a ceramic tile measuring 6 inches by 8 inches, listed in a Glossy or a Matte finish. The artwork is an original vintage magnolia study, with the pinks faded back and the greens softened so the whole thing reads as an old botanical plate. The tile is used as small wall art and as a tray insert. Custom in the title refers to the custom-printed DipaliZ artwork, not to a photo the buyer supplies.

The story behind this design
Faded is a deliberate effect rather than an accident of printing: the pinks are mixed toward grey, the contrast is held low, and a warm cast is laid over the whole tile the way light yellows old paper. Botanical plates from the nineteenth century look like this because the inks have shifted, and borrowing that shift is the quickest way to make a new print feel inherited.
Frequently asked questions
Q: How big is the DipaliZ vintage magnolia ceramic tile?
A: The tile measures 6 inches by 8 inches and is listed in one size.
Q: Which finishes are listed?
A: Glossy and Matte.
Q: Does Custom mean I can send my own photo?
A: No. Custom here refers to the custom-printed DipaliZ artwork on the tile. The magnolia design is the design you receive.
Q: Can it be used as a tray insert?
A: Yes. It is listed as a tray insert as well as small wall art, which is why the 6 by 8 inch proportion suits both.
