DipaliZ Cherry Blossom Desk Mat Microfiber Surface

The DipaliZ cherry blossom desk mat is a printed rectangular mat showing cherry blossom branches in pink. Three sizes are sold: 12" x 18", 12" x 22" and 16" x 32". Blossom branches run diagonally across the mat, which fills a wide rectangle better than a centered motif would. This DipaliZ mat suits a spring desk, a home office or a workspace that wants one soft focal point. Sizes are taken from this product's own specification.

The story behind this design

Cherry blossom is a subject with a fixed vocabulary - five petals, dark branches, a pale sky - and the interest lies in the arrangement rather than the flower. This design runs the branches corner to corner so the blossom clusters land where a desk is usually empty. The mood is calm and seasonal, closer to a print on a wall than a pattern on a cloth.
