The story behind this design

A goose is an unexpectedly good subject for gift wrap, because the profile is instantly readable at any scale and the long neck gives a vertical to build a pattern around. The floral panels behind them keep the sheet from looking like a field guide; the birds keep the florals from looking like every other wrap on the shelf. It is a deliberately odd pairing and it works.
