Wide strokes of mint, powder blue and pale apricot cross one another with the bristle marks left visible in each pass. Where two colors overlap a third appears, slightly deeper than either. Nothing is blended smooth, so the surface keeps the evidence of the brush, which is what separates this from a printed gradient.
